An exhibition of the newest trends titled "Modern Art: 1960 — 2000" is opening at the Tretyakov Gallery on the Krymsky Val street with the support of Dmitry Volkov and the SDG Arts & Science Foundation

A genuine project and the only scrim of the modern art history portraying all key trends and genres. It can help to understand the historical borders of the modernity, overcome the stereotype that it's diffucult to accept modern art and get rid of suspicion regarding modern art.

Together with the opening of a renewed exposition a new educational project is being launched. The idea of this project belongs to Dmitry Volkov.

FROM THE SVETLANA ZAKHAROVA. STILL FRAME PROJECT. #0026

Having accepted the offer from the Multimedia Art Museum to be photographed for the project “Still Frame”, the star of world ballet and prima ballerina of the Bolshoi, Svetlana Zakharova was the one to choose the photographer. She chose Vladimir Fridkes. To him Zakharova is a queen gifted with a perfect body and mind. Every still frame lives on the edge of real and imaginary. From the air, the photographer captures specific movements that give birth to the ballerina’s dance. She is aware of her talent and phenomenal ability to express nature’s splendor with her own body.
